The photos were captured in a dim alley. It revolved around a half-naked woman. She was in a mess as she leaned against a red rubbish bin. Her eyes were not focused and she was covered in dirt.
A few people near the front picked up the photos and the hall exploded.
"What is this?"
"Is this Everleigh?"
"Oh my god, when did this happen? There's more than one guy. Was Everleigh...?"
"Is that child..."
Before the relatives could say 'a r*pist's child', Everleigh crouched down and covered Adrienne's ears hurriedly. She held Adrienne in her arms and was unwilling to let her daughter see or hear anything.
Everleigh was trembling and her knees almost gave way. She lowered her head desperately and avoided everyone's gaze. She was unwilling to let anyone compare the woman in the photos to her.
As soon as she glanced at the photo, she immediately knew that it was from that rainy night seven years ago.
She remembered everything clearly. When she woke up the next morning, she was in a dirty alley. The stinking red trash can, the dead- end alley with planks and glass, a muddy puddle and she was in a mess...
Although her memory was hazy, everything around her suggested what she experienced the previous night.
The thunderstorm seven years ago was replaying in her head. The puddle reflected figures that were approaching her. Their lecherous laughter rang in her ears continuously.
Her mind went blank and her ears were buzzing.
"Everleigh, what's going on?"
Selena's surprised voice rang behind Everleight. Selena had no idea about the photos. She asked someone to pick up the twins to embarrass Everleigh. Yet, the matter escalated and it turned out for the worse. The Trevino family was humiliated.
Abraham's face was dark. The butler immediately ordered his men to clean up and retrieved all the photos.
However, so many people saw them and it was impossible to shut their mouths.
The crowd was gossiping. Selena was embarrassed and frustrated.
"Everleigh, go on! What have you done?" Selena shouted.
'Miss, you should explain," the butler advised.
"Everleigh, are you trying to ruin our family?"
