Don't Come Closer novel Chapter 9

Austin Hawk did not send Ella Hill back to the Wilson’ s House. Instead, he sent her to Wilson Group.

As the first biggest group in Chicago, it was located in the most prosperous part of Chicago. The building had eighty - eight floors.

It was Ella Hill’s first time to came here, she was shocked by Wilson Group's grandeur. At the same time, she tried to show her familiarity with this place. In the face of the employees who greeted her along the way, she returned with an elegant smile.

Of course, she had to do this. After all, Ellen Davis had always come here to find Myron Wilson.

Myron Wilson's office was on the top floor of Wilson Group. Austin Hawk took her to the CEO's exclusive elevator.

When she entered the elevator, Ella Hill lost her elegance. She was slightly nervous.

After the elevator door opened, Austin Hawk led her towards the CEO's office.

On the way, Ella Hill's heartbeat was faster than usual.

Myron Wilson was not in the office. He was in a meeting, so Austin Hawk let her to sit in the office and wait for Myron Wilson. And then he went away.

Ella Hill was not familiar with Myron Wilson. Looking around Myron Wilson's big office, she realized that the style Myron Wilson liked was minimalist.

His office was dominated by black, white and gray. There was a sense of postmodernity. It wasn’t luxurious and complex at all. Instead, he focused on low-key and taste.

In the office, there were two French windows, one with a huge desk in front of it, the other with a panoramic view of the whole city. The other two walls had cupboards leading to the ceiling, one full of books and one full of red wine.

This showed that Myron Wilson usually read books as well, and drinking red wine was his hobby.

Ella Hill sat on the sofa and waited for about ten minutes. Myron Wilson didn't come, so she got up. She came to the French windows of the office which could see the view of the city.
