Echoes of a Forsaken Heart novel Chapter 257

Natalia locked eyes with Hamilton, her lips silent but her eyes betraying a flicker of joy.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"

Hamilton's voice was laced with reproach.

"Would you have picked up my calls?"

Natalia felt a twinge of guilt, "I've been swamped lately."

Her days had been a whirlwind of negotiations by day and meetings by night, leaving her drained by the time she could even think of returning calls.

"So, you're too busy for me but have time to laugh and dine with Ryan? Suddenly the schedule clears up when he's around?"

Natalia frowned, "We were discussing work."

Hamilton felt the sting of jealousy but didn't want to spoil the moment over Ryan.

He leaned in, kissing her passionately, even biting her lip slightly in his eagerness.

"Miss me?"

He sounded like a kid seeking affirmation.

Natalia's heart skipped, and she whispered, "Yes."

Hamilton was taken aback, then overwhelmed with desire. He pulled her closer, his kiss deepening as if to devour her. Natalia, lost in the moment, clung to him for stability.

As Hamilton's hands began to wander, boldly slipping under her dress to caress her, she trembled at his touch.

"Hamilton," she began, but he silenced her with another kiss, his hands exploring yet stopping just short of further intimacy as if teasing her, waiting for her to ask for more.

Trapped in his embrace, she tried to wriggle free but found herself even more tightly held.

Suddenly, the shower turned on, drenching them both as Hamilton removed her dress in one swift motion. His hands left marks on her skin, which he tenderly kissed, even biting gently as she pushed him away.

Hamilton stood, pulling her close, his own clothes soaked, revealing his desire.

He guided her hand towards him, whispering suggestively.

Natalia, flustered, tried to pull away, but Hamilton persisted, undoing his belt with her hand.
