Enchanted Nightfall: Falling for Destiny ( Quintessa and Tyrone ) novel Chapter 320

"No way, I've got to give my son a heads up."

Staring blankly at Jonathan, it took a while for Serena to snap back to reality. Holding Mrs. York's hand, she asked, "Quintessa is really with Ty now, isn't she?"

Mrs. York, thinking about Jonathan, replied offhandedly, "Didn't you see them together this morning? Oh dear, you’d better not worry about these things."

Serena bit her lip, her nose crinkling in frustration.

That evening, Tyrone took them out for dinner at the same barbecue spot.

Mrs. York's face was a picture of shock as she watched her son peel shrimp for Quintessa. The fact that her son was even willing to eat at a street food stall had already surprised her enough, let alone this.

Mrs. York sighed, truly, there's a lid for every pot!

Serena, usually the pampered one at home, felt a bit left out as everyone's attention was on Quintessa.

Nibbling on a chicken wing, Serena looked at Quintessa with hopeful eyes, "Quintessa, can I work for you? It seems so fun to work on a film set. We have a summer project for school, and I'd love to be your assistant, for free."

Quintessa rejected her without a second thought, "No way."

Serena, a spoiled little princess, working as her assistant? That was a joke. Who would end up taking care of whom? And if something went wrong, the Harringtons would have her head.

Plus, the fact that Serena was Alexander's sister made it an absolute impossibility.

Tyrone glared at Serena, his face darkened.

Serena pleaded, "Quintessa, please, I really want to try it. You're so kind; you'll say yes, right?"
