"Every murder has a motive. Jacqueline is our little princess. Why would she hurt her sibling? That doesn't make sense."
Sean shook his head. "Besides, she has been obedient since she was young."
"Just that? She sounds average to me compared to your other siblings."
The Fordhams, including the late Quinn, were good at numbers.
Troy could craft a dragon out of wood at the age of four, and Avery was a genius.
Jacqueline was relatively ordinary under her siblings' shadows.
"I think it's because she was a premature baby. She has been weak since she was young. She rarely joined cocurricular activities and indulged in hobbies.
"She was a late bloomer, but she worked hard ever since the day she could remember things. Even though she wasn't that bright, she put in effort.
"For example, our family could memorize a poem after listening to it once. The average kid might need to listen to it five times, but she needs to listen to it about ten times.
"Still, she never complains. She'd repeat it 20 times until it was etched in her head. She's the most hard-working person."
His statement was aligned with the records. Jacqueline worked hard to enroll in a prestigious school overseas.
She won many prizes.
However, compared to her talented siblings, who could easily reach their goals, she had to sacrifice ten times more than they did.
Someone like Jacqueline deserved respect. If every learner was as dedicated as her, everyone would've been able to study in their dream school.
"Other than being the obedient child, is there anything about her that leaves a deep impression?"
"She's nice, kind, and respects us. She remembers our favorites and birthdays and prepares presents for us.
