Jeff’s thoughts drifted back to a few years ago. He was satisfied with Ethan as a son-in-law, but he got angry when Ethan said he wasn’t planning to have a wedding.

Wallace felt anxious, but he had a new job. He looked at his watch and saw that it was getting late. He needed to go. He tried to call Olivia’s old phone number, but it didn’t go through. He had no choice. but to sigh and leave.
