She stared straight at the white ceiling above her. “Ethan, just take me away. I don’t want to die in the hospital. It’s so cold here.”

“Nonsense. You’re not going to die.”

“I had a dream about the two children last night. They told me that they missed me a lot. I want to reunite with them now.”

Ethan choked. His voice was hoarse as he said, “Liv, there must still be a way.”
