“W-We're just worried about Mommy. We don't want her to end up drinking too much. Don't mind us, Aunt Madilyn,” they replied while exchanging nervous glances with each other.

In reality, they were wondering if Lucian managed to catch up to Roxanne or if he allowed her to be with Jack instead.
