Fated to Love You Again novel Chapter 134

Chapter 134: Norah was the Unique Scenery for Him

Coincidentally, an old man who was rowing in the river was coming over. Intending to shift her focus, Norah hastily pointed at him, "Look, the boat is coming. Let's get on it."

"Okay." Shawn nodded.

However, when they finished talking, the boat had already moved on.

"Hurry up, or we won't be able to catch up!" Norah shouted.

"Follow me."

Then without a second thought, Shawn held Norah's hand and began to run.

Norah didn't reject, and made efforts to run after him.

When they were running, a puff of cool wind met them which brought the fragrance of flowers, refreshing their minds.

Norah praised with a beautiful smile, "What a good smell of flowers, light but fragrant."

Shawn looked back, scanning through Norah's face.

His gaze instantly froze when he saw her pretty face, especially her charming smile in the breeze, which was like an exquisite painting for him.

If there had been a camera here, he would definitely take a photo of the scene.

But if he didn't have a camera with him, he would freeze the most attractive scene by heart.

They kept running, panting.

Fortunately, they finally caught the old man's boat.

After being seated on the boat, Norah turned to the old man with a bright smile, "Sir, thanks for your pause, without which we would miss the boat."

The old man glanced at their fashionable clothes, and said with a smile, "You young couple come from the urban town, don't you? There are boats for tourists, so why do you prefer my shabby boat?"

Norah replied in a friendly way, "Well, that's because I consider a boat like yours not flashy and most romantic to ride."

What she said made the old man burst into laughter, "What a honey-lipped girl! I like your manner. Take your seat, and let me take you to appreciate how wonderful the boat is."

"Okay, Sir. Just row."

As soon as Norah finished speaking, the boat sped up.

Such a shift made Norah feel suddenly pushed forward. Fortunately, Shawn grasped her hand and held her firmly.

When she recovered, Norah found that they were still holding hands together.

She quickly looked down and said quite shyly, "Well, you can let me go."

Shawn pretended not to hear.

Norah thought he didn't hear her, so she poked his arm with her little hand, "We're already on the boat. Let's separate."

This time, it was difficult for Shawn to behave as if he had heard nothing. He looked around the flowing water and stared back at Norah, "This boat's security is lower than the sightseeing boat, so I feel more at ease holding you."

"Don't worry. The boatman has rich experience in rowing. It must be safe," said Norah.

"Well, I know you're not afraid, but I am."

Hearing his words, Norah was blank at first.

What...?

"That is not a normal reaction," thought Norah.

Besides, she seriously doubted that Shawn had lied to her.

Shawn could swim, and swam quite well, as she had seen before.

With his proficient skill, even if he fell into the river, he would never be drowned. What's more, he was still sitting on the boat, so he must have lied to her, didn't he?

On the other hand, Norah felt that she would also be embarrassed if she debunked him.

Therefore, she could only act as if he had been frightened.

"All right, then let's just hold hands," Norah said.

At this moment, the old boatman said with a smile, "Young lady, your boyfriend has planned a lot to hold your hand. He's a nice guy."

Norah blushed slightly, "He's not my boyfriend."

"Then he's your husband? But since you two are so polite to each other, you got married not long ago and still are a bit shy, right?"
