Chapter 225 You Look Like Someone, Norah
James hastily interrupted her, "Says who?"
"Don't you?" Dora asked, puzzled, "Then why do you so care about Norah?"
Frowning, James found a very lame excuse, "Because a friend of mine wants to know."
"I see," said Dora.
"So, do you know who her boyfriend is?"
Dora shook her head instantly. "No. Norah hasn't let us meet yet. However, I met him once when he came to the hospital to meet Norah. He was quite handsome and classy, and was in good shape. Dean Broser, I'm afraid that your friend can hardly compete with him."
James did not know how to respond at once.
He just wanted to ask Dora for some information, but didn't expect her to do an analysis.
"All right. You can go," said James.
Dora remained confused when she left the office of James.
"Why does Dean Broser want to know about Norah?"
"It is so unusual." Dora thought about it for a long time and finally decided to inform Norah.
Norah also looked surprised after hearing the message. "Do you mean Dean Broser wanted to learn about me from you? And asked about my boyfriend?"
"That's true," Dora nodded.
Recalling the unpleasant moments of James and her, Norah was confused.
She always considered James weird, though she could not tell exactly what was wrong.
After finishing her work in the evening, Norah hoped to leave the hospital as soon as possible.
When she reached the gate, she was finally relieved.
However, the next moment, a car stopped beside her. With the window sliding slowly, James's face revealed. "Are you going home? I can give you a ride."
"No, thank you, Dean Broser." Norah quickly refused.
Since they were on a busy road, other cars soon began honking behind them.
"Get in!" James insisted.
More car horns came one after another.
Therefore, Norah had no choice but to get in James's car.
Both James and Norah sat in the back.
Curiously, after Norah got in, James kept his eyes closed without saying a word, seemingly falling asleep.
Ten minutes later, Norah looked at him, and looked at the neon lights shining out of the window. Finally, she decided to speak, "Dean Broser, if I have offended you before, I sincerely apologize to you. However, I haven't intended to charm you. I just want to do my job."
"My mother studied medicine as well, and she used to be a nurse. It was both my dream and hers to be a doctor, and that's all I want to do."
"If you can forgive me, it will be tolerant of you to return a peaceful working environment to me. If you can't excuse me, I will consider working in another hospital. It doesn't matter."
After telling all her thoughts, Norah felt much more relaxed.
After all, she didn't have to worry about the issue anymore.
However, James kept sitting back with his eyes closed.
He didn't say a word, neither "I forgive you" nor "I won't forgive you".
Under such a circumstance, Norah became increasingly nervous.
Unless she had to, she was unwilling to leave this hospital because of several reasons.
