Fated to Love You Again novel Chapter 275

Chapter 275 Wedding Gown Shopping

"No need."

"Alright."

Norah and Shawn both answered this question almost simultaneously.

Shawn was the one who agreed, while Norah was the one who refused.

Well...

They were just friends now. It seemed a bit inappropriate for two friends to visit a wedding gown exhibition hall together seriously.

"That's a wedding gown exhibition hall. It's not appropriate for us to go there," Norah said.

Compared to Norah's nervousness, Shawn appeared particularly calm. "I know it's a wedding gown exhibition hall. We're just going to take a look. What are you so nervous about?"

"But we're not..." Norah bit her lip and expressed it in a different way, "We're just friends."

Shawn looked at her and said in an unpleasant tone, "Norah, listen, I know we're just friends. I got it, okay? So you don't have to remind me over and over again. It's just that now I want to visit the wedding gown exhibition hall. Since we are friends, why couldn't you just accompany me a little?"

After that, Shawn walked forward.

Norah quietly followed.

As they entered the wedding gown exhibition hall, Norah was stunned instantly when she saw all those gorgeous wedding gowns. She stood there motionless for a while.

Every wedding gown in the exhibition hall was extremely beautiful and impeccable, and their designs were astonishingly amazing.

They were all Victorian-style wedding gowns. Each set was exquisitely made to perfection. Even from a distance, Norah felt that the embroidery on the skirts was lifelike, and every pattern symbolized blessings.

The entire exhibition hall was filled with white wedding gowns, full of yearning for pure love and happy marriage.

At that moment, she finally fully understood girls' expectations for weddings.

She also understood the anticipation and importance that girls placed on wedding gowns.

Pure white, the purest color, was just what the brides anticipated for their marriage life.

Purity used to be her expectation and longing for her wedding and marriage life.

However, it seemed like she would never have the opportunity to have a wedding with the person she used to marry.

"Mr. Lawson, Miss Chase, let me introduce you to our wedding gown exhibition hall," the receptionist said softly, "Our wedding gown exhibition hall is the biggest feature of our store. Many people come here because of its reputation. The wedding gowns displayed here are all made in collaboration with top designers. We have a very strict selection process for the designers, only choosing those who have expertise in classical clothing."

"Our philosophy is to give every bride a Victorian dream wedding. The embroidery on the wedding dress is all handcrafted. Therefore, the production cycle for a wedding dress is quite long and requires ordering in advance."

"Then how do I go about ordering a set of wedding dresses?" Shawn suddenly asked.

Upon hearing this, Norah was stunned.

"Is he ordering wedding dresses?" She thought to herself.

"Mr. Lawson, you... Emm..." The receptionist was completely caught off guard and became overjoyed all at once.

Because the wedding dresses here were all top-notch custom-made, and the prices were not cheap.

So the commission for selling a wedding dress was quite substantial.

She had only been working here for three months and never dreamed that such a big pie would fall on her.

Taking a deep breath, the receptionist finally composed herself and replied, "Mr. Lawson, are you saying that you want to order a set of wedding dresses?"

Norah still couldn't control herself. She pinched her fingers and spoke in a somewhat awkward manner, "Are you really going to order a wedding dress?"

"Yes," he nodded and said.

Then he looked at her with a deep gaze, saying, "You heard it just now that completing a set of wedding dresses takes a long time. With my status, I will eventually get married. It's better to be prepared in advance, so that I won't have to rush later."

These words were like a knife stabbing into Norah's heart.

Although it wasn't a physical wound that would bleed, she felt that the pain it caused was even greater than a physical injury.

For a moment, she clenched her hands tightly, her nails digging into her palms. But she couldn't seem to feel the pain.

She silently bit her lip, trying to calm her breathing, inhaling and exhaling, repeating it several times.
