Chapter 83 He wanted to see Norah act like a spoiled child
"Yes, both Mr. Lawson and Miss Fountain are inside." Anthony replied.
Pushing the door open, Norah went in.
The room was so big that no one noticed her when she went in.
A few minutes later, Norah finally walked to the inner room.
She saw Shawn and Lilian hugging each other like an affectionate and close couple.
Although she had imagined how they would hug each other, seeing it with her own eyes was another thing.
It was very quiet in the room.
Norah just stood there and watched them hug each other.
She even wanted to see how long it would take for them to see her.
What she didn't know was that Lilian had seen her, but she pretended that she didn't notice her.
Shawn tried to push away Lilian several times, but Lilian stopped him.
Therefore, their hug lasted for several minutes.
In the end, Shawn pushed away Lilian firmly.
As soon as he pushed her away, he saw Norah.
He immediately became so flustered and panicked, "Norah, why are you here?"
"Can't I come here?"
Compared with Shawn's panic, Norah seemed unusually calm.
"Of course you can. That's not what I mean."
Shawn stepped forward and took her hand, "How's your wound? What did the doctor say?"
"It's not a big deal."
She finished speaking and looked at Lilian, "How about her? Is she okay?"
"She bled a lot. Fortunately, she was sent here in time and she was given a blood transfusion. What's more, the wound is not deep and she can recover after a period of rest." Shawn said.
"Well, that's good."
She didn't like Lilian.
However, she didn't want Lilian to die. She was not so vicious.
Moreover, once Lilian died, Shawn would miss her forever, and she would become an eternal existence in his heart.
Obviously, she didn't want Lilian to become such an existence in Shawn's life.
This would only cause an unbridgeable gap between her and Shawn, and they could never overcome it.
"It's late at night. I'm going back to sleep. Do you want to go back with me?" Norah asked.
Shawn opened his mouth.
Before he could answer, Lilian suddenly got out of bed and rushed to Shawn's arms.
She hugged him like a frightened little bird and said pitifully, "Shawn, don't go, okay? I beg you to accompany me."
"I'm so scared, really. You said you would accompany me. Please... Don't leave me alone."
Lilian held his arm and cried very bitterly.
Norah looked at Shawn blandly, "Make your choice. I'll give you five minutes."
Lilian cried more and more sadly, "Shawn, no, please don't..."
Tears kept running down her face.
She couldn't stop crying loudly and mournfully.
However, Shawn looked at Norah.
She stood with her back to him, so he couldn't see the expression on her face.
However, even so, Shawn saw her wiping her face again and again.
Was she crying?
