Chapter 89 Don't Leave Before Answering Me
Shawn reached out and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.
He smiled and looked at Marty with disdain. "You only have this means left."
"Shawn, why did you become like this?"
"Didn't I learn from you? Like father, like son. What qualifications do you have to say that about me?"Shawn smiled, and the smile was full of unruly and evil spirits.
"When is it your turn to teach me a lesson? I'm talking about you and Norah. When grandpa left, he told you to treat her well, to love her and protect her. Then what?"
"Look at all these bastard things you've done. You want to anger me to death, right?" Marty's chest rolled with anger.
Shawn met him with sharp eyes. "What you did also angered Grandpa."
"Shawn, if I don't teach you a good lesson today, I'm not your father."
Marty was about to slap him in anger.
At this time, Susan came over, took his hand, and threw it down.
"You are here to solve problems, not to intensify conflicts."
"You gave birth to a good son!" Marty slammed out of the door angrily.
Susan stared at Shawn with cold eyes.
Shawn also looked at him. "If I guess correctly, you help me stop this slap just because you don't want to intensify our conflict and because you don't want me to hate him more, but it's useless. I can't forgive him."
"You really deserve a slap. You even held a birthday party for Lilian in public. Have you ever thought about Norah's feelings?"
When it came to Norah, especially when he thought of the scene where she and Matthew left together, Shawn felt very unhappy.
The voice that came out was full of jealousy. "She doesn't care at all."
After he finished speaking, he felt a sense of decadence.
Before the birthday party, he thought about it a thousand times. As long as Norah came to him and told him she didn't like it,
or act coquettishly and tell him not to hold birthday parties for another women, he would cancel everything today.
But, he waited and waited!
Until today, the moment the banquet started, he didn't get her call.
She could still attend this banquet as if nothing had happened, which showed she really didn't care.
"How do you know she doesn't care? She told you that?"
"She doesn't have to tell me that. Her behavior has said everything."
After Shawn finished speaking, he suddenly found a place and sat down silently.
He also became silent.
He was very unhappy today, not at all.
Susan walked over, took a tissue and handed it to him. "Women are sometimes duplicitous. The more they care, the more stubborn they are. And they won't say it out loud. Go back quickly, coax her well, and clear up the misunderstanding. It's not too late now."
"You mean, she actually care?"
Shawn raised his head, his eyes suddenly brightened, with a hint of brilliance.
"You know her feelings best. I just don't want you to regret. Instead of wasting time here, it's better to go back earlier."
As soon as Susan finished speaking, Shawn ran out immediately.
Thirty minutes later, Shawn returned home.
It was almost midnight when he got home.
Norah tossed on the bed for a long time and just fell asleep. Suddenly, she felt her body sink, as if something heavy was pressing on her.
She was startled and a little scared.
