Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1393

Seeing Henson and his crew being tough cookies, the staff was afraid of being criticized as bystanders and tourists started gathering around. So they quickly apologized, pulled Heather's assistant aside, and let Estelle in.

Heather's assistant was not happy with this arrangement. She glared at Estelle's retreating figure and said to the staff, "We were asked by the director to bring Heather and Carmella to persuade Mr. Gellar. You guys let so many people in to disturb him, and if we can't convince him, it's on you!"

The staff was in a bind and tried to explain to the assistant.

Estelle and the others went through the front hall to the backyard, where they ran into Heather and Carmella just coming out.

Heather took a second to figure out where she knew Estelle from. Then it hit her. They'd met at the Hungry Spoon, where Estelle had a run-in with Morrison Langston.

Heather was surprised to see Estelle again. She quickly pulled her hat down to cover her eyes, pretending not to see Estelle.

But Carmella, on the other hand, greeted Estelle.

"Estelle, what are you doing here?" Carmella asked in surprise, then turned to Sallie and quickly figured it out, "Are you here to help Sallie?"

Ignored Carmella, Estelle continued to walk in.

Carmella smiled and said, "I'd advise you not to bother, Mr. Gellar won't agree to work with Sallie. You're wasting your time and might even get the cold shoulder."

Sallie responded coldly, "Mind your own business!"

Carmella laughed innocently, "Sallie, I'm only trying to help. It might be easier to convince the director to find you a different tailor to work with!"

Sallie rolled her eyes at Carmella and followed Estelle.

The others completely ignored Carmella, not even giving her a glance.

Frustrated, Carmella couldn't understand why Sallie and Hans were loyal to Estelle.
