Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1400

Jonathan smiled sarcastically, "I ain't planning to kill you. You ain't worth my hatred. You just better stay clear of me and Estelle."

"I've kept my distance. I've never bothered Estelle!" Yvonne cried, "I came today just hoping you'd let Zack off the hook, even if it's just to let him see his mom one last time, then he'll scram."

"I told you, that's not going to happen!" Jonathan retorted, "If Zack shows up, I'll make him pay for every time Estelle got hurt."

"Jonathan, we've known each other for nearly thirty years. Can't you cut me some slack?" Yvonne looked at him with tear-filled eyes.

"Our friendship ended the moment you planned to hurt Estelle!"

"Estelle, Estelle, it's always about Estelle!" Yvonne was heartbroken, "Don't I mean anything to you?"

"You shouldn't ask stupid questions!" Jonathan replied coldly.

Tears streamed down Yvonne's cheeks, her eyes filled with despair. She nodded, "You're right, I'm stupid for still having hope for you."

She stepped back, and a switchblade suddenly appeared in her hand. The sharp blade sprang out. She held it against her wrist, her eyes filled with determination as she stared at Jonathan.

"An eye for an eye, I'll pay Zack's debt to Estelle. Will that satisfy you?"

"Are you threatening me?" Jonathan squinted.

"You don't care about me. How could I possibly threaten you?" Yvonne looked at Jonathan with heartache, "I just want to know, if I give my life for Estelle, will you let Zack go?"

Jonathan's face was impassive, "Yvonne, I suggest you stop being foolish."

"Well then, let me be foolish one more time!" With a flash of resolve, Yvonne slashed her wrist. She couldn't believe Jonathan wouldn't care about her life or death.

Blood sprayed out instantly, and the intense pain made Yvonne drop the knife. She looked at Jonathan, and he hadn't moved an inch, his eyes filled with indifference.

Yvonne was filled with despair!

Humiliated and heartbroken, she picked up the knife and, this time, aimed at her throat.
