Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2196

“What’s for lunch?”

As she approaching, a soft glow enveloping her, lips so lush it made one yearn for a taste.

Gabriel was only human, taking her hand and pulling her onto his lap, caressing her lips with a kiss, murmuring, “I’m easy.”

Sylvia’s gaze was a bit hazy, her lips even more tender after being kissed. She leaned into his shoulder, her body fitting perfectly in his embrace.

Listening to his heartbeat, she thought to herself that although he claimed to be undemanding, he wouldn’t touch anything he disliked.

After a moment, she looked up with a smile, “How about seafood? I know a place that does it just right.”

“Sounds good to me, you decide!” he replied.

Sylvia set the GPS for a spot in Orli, and Gabriel drove them there.

When it came to ordering, Sylvia chose a bottle of wine, prompting Gabriel to raise an eyebrow, “Taking the afternoon off?”

She replied, “Yep, playing hooky today. We’re going shopping.”

“Shopping?” Gabriel was taken aback.

“Of course, since becoming the boss, I never imagined I’d need a bodyguard!” Sylvia’s eyes twinkled with mischief, “Now that I’ve got one, I might as well show off and milk him for all he’s worth.”

Gabriel laughed, sipping his tea with a smile that held a tinge of indulgence.

After their meal, Sylvia went to freshen up. When the waiter brought fruit and Gabriel had settled the bill, the wine turned out to be pricey, over seven hundred dollars, and Sylvia had only had a small glass. The waiter, after consulting Gabriel, stored the remaining wine away.

Upon her return, Sylvia found out that Gabriel had already paid.

Frowning, she looked at him, “Why didn’t you wait for me?”

He looked back calmly, “Do we need to split things?”

Slightly tipsy, Sylvia pressed her lips together and headed out.

As they got into the car, Magdalen had just parked her own vehicle. She watched them drive off, her radiant face a mix of surprise and delight.

She immediately called Estelle.
