Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2273

"Excuse me?" Jasmine was dumbfounded, her voice rising in anger, "He cheated?"

"Well, not exactly, but he seems to care more about another girl than me, and it just hurts!" Sophia's voice broke.

The last straw was ever since the incident with Diana, Robin hadn't reached out to her, only sending a few texts to explain that he had to help Diana because she was being followed that day.

If he truly cared, he would have come to find her even if she didn't respond to his messages!

But he didn't!

Even when she couldn't wait any longer and returned to B City in a huff, there was still no word from him.

She was utterly disappointed!

"Being in a relationship shouldn't be this demeaning. And marriage? That's probably even worse. I doubt he cares at all, otherwise, he wouldn't keep making excuses not to meet the family." Jasmine pulled Sophia out of bed, "Enough with the self-pity. It's embarrassing to be so hung up over a relationship. Get up, we're going out."

Sophia asked, "Where to?"

"Gina's been craving my braised pork, and I just finished making it. Let's deliver it together." Jasmine patted her head, "Cheer up, get dressed, I'll wait for you downstairs."

Their families lived close by, and Gina had always treated her like her own daughter. Since returning, Sophia hadn't visited the Gilders yet, feeling somewhat guilty, so she didn't protest and got ready to leave.

Half an hour later, the two set out.

Jasmine wore a stylish and dignified dark coat, while Sophia, in contrast, was bare-faced, wearing a knee-length puffer jacket and snow boots, her short hair casually tucked behind her ears, topped with a beanie with a pompom, looking utterly listless.

Jasmine couldn't help but laugh, "We're going to visit someone, can't you dress up a bit?"

Sophia shrugged, "Why bother? It's not like we're visiting strangers."

Besides, B City was too cold; she wished she could wrap herself in a duvet whenever she went outside.
