Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 2335

Charlie's heart ached with a softness he couldn't explain.

...

Soon enough, the word got out. Andrew's face turned as pale as a ghost, riddled with guilt as he apologized to Charlie, "Charlie, I don't even know how to begin to apologize to you. If it'll make you feel any better, feel free to give me a couple of slaps!"

"It's not on you!" Charlie snapped back. "Whoever did this should bear the responsibility!"

Jonathan's expression was grim as he summoned the estate manager, "Pull the surveillance footage from where the incident occurred and send it to my phone!"

The manager hurried off to fulfill the request.

Jonathan glanced at Kya's neck, "Do you think she needs a full body check-up?"

"No need, she's not hurt anywhere else!" Charlie said.

Jonathan nodded slightly but still had the estate's doctor come over to examine Kya and provided some cream for the swelling and bruises.

He felt a surge of anger comparable to Charlie's. If anyone dared to lay a finger on his daughter, he would not hesitate to make them pay dearly!

It took Hogan a few hours to arrive from J City. Charlie insisted that everyone should keep enjoying themselves, "Keep the spirits up and continue having fun."

However, for the remainder of the time, Charlie held Kya close and never let her go.

Everyone tried their best to cheer Kya up. Nestled in Charlie's arms, a small smile finally returned to her face.

As the group finished their picking activity, a long table was set up in the garden for lunch, serving everything they had gathered.

The fruit was served fresh while the vegetables were taken to the kitchen to be cooked, making the meal particularly delightful since it was the fruit of their own labor.

Kya slowly forgot about the earlier incident, once again becoming the life of the party as everyone began to relax, preparing barbecues, fruit salads, and doing their best to maintain a light and pleasant atmosphere.

Jonathan even called the pastry chef over, setting up a station to prepare desserts on the spot.
