Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 339

A few days later, when Jonathan was passing by the second floor on his way home in the evening, he heard Janice on the balcony talking on the phone, "Have you been in touch with Ella lately?"

"Don't use being busy as an excuse!"

"Since you also like her, you better hurry up. If you don't take it seriously, someone else might sweep her off her feet!"

After Janice hung up the phone, she turned around and saw Jonathan coming up from the stairs. She smiled warmly at him, "Mom just asked if you were home yet."

Jonathan's eyes were deep as he smirked, "you don’t seem to be busy these days, focusing on being a matchmaker?"

Janice laughed helplessly, "Mom saw Estelle the other day and was very impressed with her. She said sensible young ladies like her are rare these days and she's been urging me to call Matthew to make him put some effort into pursuing her. Matthew lost his mom when he was young, so as his aunt, I have to look out for him more."

Jonathan nodded slightly without saying anything, and headed to the third floor.

After taking a shower, he sat on the balcony smoking. The villa area was unlike the city, where it was still bustling at night. At this time, it was completely quiet.

The moonlight was hazy, and the evening breeze was cool.

He hadn't seen Estelle for a while, and his life and work gradually returned to normal. He occasionally had urges at night but taking a shower would calm him down.

His sleep, however, worsened. He used to have trouble falling asleep, but now he suffered from insomnia.

Insomnia wasn't that scary and it wouldn't make him feel unbearable, nor would it affect his work during the daytime. Some people were said to be born not needing much sleep, maybe he was just one of them.

At noon that day, Estelle received a call from Matthew, asking if she was available that evening to go see a movie together.

Estelle declined politely, "Sorry, I have to work tonight."

Matthew was surprised, "You still have to work at night? What do you do?"
