Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 424

Jonathan's face darkened, making his eyes even deeper. He stared at her, thin lips pressed into a straight line, "You think this is up to you?"

Under the dim light, Estelle's face was pale and looked cold and distant. "We agreed at the very beginning that if anyone wanted to quit, we could end this relationship at any time without any entanglements!"

"Is that it?" Jonathan had anger hidden in his eyes, as he scoffed.

Estelle turned away, tight-lipped and silent.

Jonathan's face was cold and calm. "Is it because of Xavier? Ever since he appeared, our troubles began. You lied to me for him, stayed in the hospital to take care of him, and now you want to break up with me for him. Do you really like him that much?"

Estelle frowned immediately, "This has nothing to do with him, what's going on between us is not what you think!"

"Then what's the reason?" Jonathan's face turned pale, seemingly trying to suppress his anger and unwillingness. "You came to me first, and you were the one who initiated things that night. Now you say it's over just like that—what about me? Have you ever thought about how I'd feel?"

Estelle had never seen Jonathan so out of control. Even when he found out she lied to him at the hospital, he just sneered and scolded her. But today, she saw the anger in his eyes, even heartbreak.

She hesitated for a moment, took a deep breath, choked back a sob, and kept her voice steady. "There are plenty of women who'd want to be your bed partner. Even without me, you will have plenty of others."

Jonathan's eyes suddenly darkened, as if his anger and unwillingness dissipated in an instant. He remained silent for a moment, looking at her with a desperate gaze. "Estelle, even if you have someone else in your heart, you don't need to hurt me like this. You know that? I'm already in so much pain!"

Estelle stared at him in astonishment, "What are you in pain about?"

Jonathan looked at her intently, speaking slowly, "The pain is that I've been trying not to admit that I've developed feelings for you."
