"Hayden, I remember that you can drink! Come drink with me!" Ben was excited and went to sit down next to Hayden.
Hayden could not refuse and went along with it.
"If Eric hadn't undergone surgery, I would make him drink with me." Ben's face was flushed, but he managed to keep a level head. "So I'm left with drinking with you."
"Uncle Ben, I'll only have two glasses with you. I recall that you have fatty liver."
"Why do you have such great memory? Your aunt never lets me drink... so I don't drink most of the time... This is a special occasion, though, right?" Ben clinked glasses with Hayden. "It's fine to drink every once in a while. I know my limits."
"Just drink one glass." Avery stopped them. "It's not Layla's wedding day yet! Take it slow, Ben! Your health is the most important."
"He is just an alcoholic who looks for excuses to drink everywhere!" Lilith mocked. "He said his life holds no meaning if he is unable to drink. He would sneak to drink or two behind my back every day, thinking that I don't know about it! Ha!"
Ben blushed. "Why didn't you lecture me if you knew?"
She glared at him. "I tried, but it never worked, so I grew tired of it. Drink all you want, and once you die, all your money will belong to me and our son. I will spend your money however I want and live my best life then."
Ben was rendered speechless and instantly lost interest in the glass of wine in his hand. "Forget it. I won't drink anymore." He set it down.
"He speaks like he doesn't want it, but in truth, he has had some fun after drinking a few glasses tonight itself."
"Lilith, stop mocking me. I won't drink in secret from now on." He paused and continued, "I will drink in front of you if I want to drink again."
Lilith glared at him.
In the television station, the bodyguard parked the car, and Ivy instructed the bodyguard and driver to wait outside.
"There are guards inside the station, so it's safe," Ivy explained to the bodyguard, before turning to Rose and Kiara. "There's a security gate before going in, and all dangerous items are forbidden."
Rose nodded.
"Ivy, can we take photos inside?" Kiara asked.
"I suppose! As long as you don't take photos of others."
