His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 3083

Archer loaded the flowers into the trunk one by one until it was full, and then he filled the backseat as well.

As there was no more space for flowers in the car, Ivy decided not to buy any more.

After paying, the two of them set off with the car full of flowers toward the cemetery.

Arriving at her grandmother's grave, Ivy surrounded it with flowers.

She knelt in front of the tombstone, gazing at her grandmother's name on it, and spoke softly. "Grandma, I've come to see you. It's been three years since I last visited because I wanted to wait until I achieved something before coming to see you. You always wanted to see me succeed, and now, even if I don't rely on my parents, I can still find a decent job. Grandma, you can rest assured. From now on, I will visit you every year. My parents have been very good to me, and my siblings have taken great care of me too. Though I only spent three years with them, the love they've given me is more than I can ever hope for. I am content, and I don't blame them for finding me later in life at all. If I had grown up with them from a young age, I wouldn't have had the chance to know you. If given a choice, I would still choose to have known you, because the things you taught me are priceless. It's a shame that you can't see me now. I have money, and I wish I could pamper you with a big house, new clothes, and lots of delicious food. I would hire a housekeeper for you, and you wouldn't have to do anything except be happy every day. Grandma, why couldn't you have waited a bit longer?"

As Ivy spoke, her eyes welled up with tears, and she struggled to hold back her sobs.

An hour later, the sky began to drizzle.

Archer persuaded Ivy to return to the car.

"The weather here is like this. It often rains for no reason," Ivy said as she adjusted her emotions.

"Should we head back to the hotel now?" Archer asked.

"I don't want to go back to the hotel," Ivy replied.

"Then where do you want to go?" Archer inquired.

"To Evergreen High School," Ivy said.
