Ivy came in panting. "A-aunty! I-I'm Lucas' friend. I came to see you!" Her cheeks were flushed as she placed the fruit basket on the table and then turned to face Lucas' mother.

Lucas' mother looked at Ivy, surprised. "You're Lucas' friend? Why have I never seen you before? When did you two meet?"

Ivy pursed her lips, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Lucas interjected, "Mom, don't mind her."

His mother chuckled. "What a pretty young lady! And you can tell that she is a pleasant person. Lucas, she seems to like you, so you don't have to look so serious."

"It's okay! I'm not afraid even if he looks serious. I know he's a good person," Ivy said.

Laughing, Lucas's mother said, "Hahaha! You're adorable! What's your name?"
