His Secret Spoiled Wife (Lily and Alexander) novel Chapter 1331

Suddenly, Anastasia looked up and said firmly, “Please let me try again! For one last time! Let’s not treat it like I’m trying to lose weight or think about how much I have to lose. I can’t get any worse now. Please let me do what I want for once. I was genuinely happy around Lily, and I feel she won’t cause me harm!”

Cameron was somewhat astonished. His daughter’s beautiful eyes were full of determination. It had been such a long time since he had seen such a glow in her eyes. He was moved despite himself and was somewhat swayed. “Tasia…”

“Dad, I know you mean well, but I’m sick of eating tomatoes and cucumbers. You don’t know this, but I threw up many times before. Still, I did try to obey you!”

Tears streamed down as she continued, “I want to slim down and have a nice body too. I want to wear beautiful dresses and dance, but I’ve tried everything! Or do you think I should go for a gastrectomy? Even if I were to have the surgery, please let me try Lily’s method for the last time!”

Anastasia spoke earnestly, “Six months! Give me six months—not six months, but three! If I can’t lose weight and instead get fatter within those three months, I’ll have a gastrectomy, or I’ll do whatever you want me to, including not eating!”

She lifted her hands to wipe her tears but ended up crying nonstop. Cameron felt sorry for her, walked over, and gently tried to wrap his arms around her.

However, due to her size, he could only rest his hands on her shoulders and said soothingly, “Tasia, you’re my only daughter, and I can’t bear to scold you. I only worry about your health and don’t care if you’re fat. As long as you’re in good health, you’re still my dearest daughter, even if you can’t slim down and stay fat for the rest of your life.”

“Dad…” Anastasia had not expected her usually dignified father to say those words. Surprised, she looked at him through her tears.

“If you want to try it, then do it. You’re old enough to know about your health. I hope you remember not to believe everything others tell you and learn to ascertain what’s good for you independently.” It was not easy for Cameron to say these words.

Anastasia was ecstatic. “So you agree? Thank you, Dad!”

She hugged her father and kissed his cheek, smearing her tears on his face.

Cameron looked awkward. Since Anastasia became a grownup, she seldom acted affectionately with him and was always withdrawn and nervous like a little defensive hedgehog.

It was as if his heart of steel suffered a considerable impact and yet was enveloped by warmth and gentleness. He felt as if he was back when Tasia was just a little, round-faced girl with ponytails, her chubby arms spread open for him to hug her.

He revealed a subconscious smile. “Silly girl, do you think you’re still little?”

“I’m your daughter no matter how old I get. Thank you, Dad!” She thanked him with all her heart.

She was so worried that after her aunt blew up the matter, her father would lose his temper and forbid her to go to Lily’s house again.

‘Not only is he not upset, but he has also given me freedom! What an amazing surprise!’
