On top of that, it was unnecessary for the company's president to come for a bid. If their company had a good plan, one of their employees could do it for them.
However, Fabian shook his head and looked at Maria. "You don't understand anything! Do you know why Alexander went abroad? According to one of the sources, something happened to his factory in Burnwken.
“There's some sort of poisoning among his staff. Regardless of whether it's something he can deal with or how chaotic Burnwken is, once he leaves, who knows when he’ll come back."
Fabian hoped that Alexander would not return. It would be even better if he died there. Once Alexander died, La Beaute Group would be in chaos. Following that, the company's market share would drop, which would be when Fabian would step in and buy a large portion of the company. Then he would take advantage of this opportunity to surpass them.
Even the thought of this made him laugh out loud.
"It's so chaotic in Burnwken. Why does he have to go there personally? Why can't he just send someone down?" Although Maria hoped for the same results as Fabian, she still did not understand why Alexander did what he did.
"You know youngsters nowadays. They like to do everything by themselves to try and win people over. I have no idea why he even bothered to do that. Those poor immigrant workers have nothing. If they worked for me, they should be thankful I gave them food on their plates!" Fabian shook his head.
As they were in the same industry, he had heard stories about Alexander. He either went to Burnwken to put up a show, or he was just stupid. As a businessman, why would he waste his time on something that would not profit him?
With his employees getting collective poisoning, was he not afraid their family members or other local employees would try to release their anger on him?
Based on Fabian's perspective, Alexander should have just sent a high-level executive to appease the situation. All Alexander had to do was offer them some money. Why did he have to go there by himself?
