Anastasia should not have doubted Lily from the start.
"You have the right to be suspicious, and I should explain it to you," Lily said. "I didn't tell you before because I was unsure."
"Unsure about what?" Anastasia asked curiously.
Looking at her, Lily pondered for a while before saying, "I wasn't sure what poisoned you."
When she said this, the colors immediately drained from Anastasia's face out of fear.
"You…don't have to be scared. The poison isn't fatal," Lily quickly reassured Anastasia after noticing her fearful expression.
Anastasia wasn't frightened by the fact that she was poisoned. Instead, it was because Lily and that miracle doctor said the same thing. They both said the fact that she was unable to lose weight over the years and that she was always tired and disheartened was because she was poisoned.
After calming herself down, she asked, "Then what am I poisoned with?"
"It's something relatively complicated. I think it's something that you've ingested for a long time. I still need a few days to study it carefully," Lily answered cautiously after a pause.
"Then…" Anastasia got up and took her phone out before scrolling to a picture on it. It was a picture of a medicine that Austin had prescribed for her. She handed her phone over to Lily for her to see. "Is this prescription effective for the toxins in my body?"
Lily looked at the prescriptions carefully before looking up at her. "Did Austin give this to you?"
