Rhea looked astonished. “What kind of differences can’t be reconciled? From how I see it, the experiment is progressing quite smoothly. I heard you’re competent, but could it be that what you believed was wrong? At least the experiment is showing good results now!”

Lily gazed at Rhea but did not join her laughter. Instead, Lily waited till Rhea stopped laughing, then curled her lips and said blandly, “That’s understandable.”

“Then may I ask what kind of differences you had with Professor Thompson?” Rhea pursued the question again.
