"The miracle doctor!" Maria exclaimed excitedly.
Rhea turned to look at her wordlessly.
"The miracle doctor?" Fabian was too shocked even to reach.
"Yeah! He was the one who treated Tasia at the end of the day. He helped her get better and found out that she had gotten poisoned. Regardless of how Cameron is, he gives credit where it's due.
“Although he’s a little rigid, he’ll always repay someone for their kindness. If the miracle doctor can put in some good words for us, perhaps it won't be impossible for us to ask for favors." Just the possibility of this made Maria feel elated.
On the other hand, Rhea stayed silent.
Fabian frowned. "Would he help us? Why do I recall the miracle doctor being a little…cocky?"
Maria coughed a few times when she heard her husband’s words. She quickly nudged him, signaling that he should watch his words before explaining, "Although the miracle doctor has his quirks, he still willingly treated Tasia. After coming over a few times, I found that he's pretty easy to talk to.
“He's pretty friendly. I paid him a lot of money for his consultation. I'm sure a few good words from him won't take much effort."
"So, what are you waiting for? Why aren't you calling him?" Upon hearing his wife’s explanation, Fabian thought it made sense and quickly urged her.
"I just thought of it!" With that, Maria took out her phone and dialed the number.
Fabian watched her. "So?"
