Melanie glanced at the card and coldly shrugged his hand off her. "Really?"

"Look. This card is a gift from my mom, meaning she has already approved you as her daughter-in-law. I know what she said earlier made you upset, but don't overthink them because she meant nothing ill. She just wants the best for me, that's all.”
