Mike tried to justify his reaction by pointing at Austin, who was trying hard not to laugh.
Austin said, “Me? Hey, I laughed because you sounded insane when you said it. If that crazy woman said it to my face, I would never…”
He trailed off as he met Mike’s gaze. Austin wanted to say he would never dismiss such a claim, but on second thought, he would have brushed her off as being crazy.
“Whether or not it’s true, we must make sure,” Alexander spoke solemnly, not finding the incident amusing. After all, Rhea’s escape could threaten the world.

...
The queen was napping in bed when someone knocked on the bedroom door. After three knocks, the person opened the door without her permission. She opened her eyes to look, then shut them again because she knew who the person was.
Fred supported himself with his cane and walked around the bed. He stood before her, saying, “Your Majesty, your nap time is almost over. You should wake up.”
“What the hell are you doing here?” the queen spoke coldly, not bothering to open her eyes.
Fred smiled. “To make your dream come true, of course.”
