Lily was surprised as she leaned back and crossed her arms. She smiled and said, “So, that’s what you’re here for. Don’t you constantly say you’re capable? Why do you care so much about the lab data?”

“Since the experiment is about me and the queen, wouldn’t it be better if the two of us could communicate more?” she said matter-of-factly, “I also want you to send Dominic home.”

Lily looked toward Dominic. The latter did not expect that and looked stunned. He stubbornly said, “I’m not leaving!”

Fred snorted. “Do you think I’d let him come and go as he pleases?”
