In fact, what Jenny said was right. It was very annoying to have this going on and on. Lily thought that her relationship with Nathaniel was over, but he was still very connected to her.
She could understand if it was work-related, but what was he trying to do now?
Calling the police to take him away was just a temporary solution. Since it was not a major crime, he would, at most, be fined and released afterward. Then what? What if he came back the next day?
"Anything on your mind?" Alexander hugged Lily from behind.
He had been reading a book but saw her holding a watering can and watering the same pot of flowers for a long time. That poor pot of flowers was about to drown but she had no intention of stopping.
"Huh?" Lily finally came to her senses and saw the flower pots in front of her overflowing, "Yeah!"
She hurriedly stopped what she was doing and turned to go to water another pot, but he grabbed the watering can from her hand and put it aside, "Okay, don't harm them yet."
With her hands empty, she tightened her lips, "Do you think I'm a scourge?"
Alexander was quiet. What’s life without the freedom to express emotions?
"If you want to harm someone, I’ll keep you at home and only harm myself!" He said softly as he kissed her hand.
That was the most beautiful thing Alexander had ever said, and it also amused Lily.
Looking into his eyes, she thought for a while before replying, "I was thinking, should we make our relationship public?"
"Why? You finally want to announce our relationship?" He took her by the hand, turned, and walked into the house. He then helped her sit on the sofa and got a clean towel to wipe her hands.
He wiped very carefully, cleaning her finger one at a time.
