"Oh, I understand. Don't worry. It'll be fine."
After hanging up the phone, she worriedly stared at the enormous wooden box. She had no idea how the security guard brought it up. It was a struggle even to wrap her whole arms around the box. Alexander told her to get someone to move the box to somewhere spacious; who was she going to ask to do that?
While Lily was stressing out about this, Olivia, beside her, beamed excitedly. Olivia had already eaten her breakfast and cleaned up before she came over. When she noticed Lily staring at the box, Olivia went toward her and asked, "Why haven't you opened it?"
"I'm scared this might be a prank." Then Lily turned to look at Olivia helplessly and said, "Besides, how do you dismantle this thing?"
"It should be quite easy. You'll need a plier and a screwdriver to open it!" Olivia seemed to be well-versed in this.
"Then, you do it!" Lily instantly took the opportunity to ask for Olivia's help.
After rolling up her sleeves, just as Olivia was about to try to dismantle the box, she stopped and smiled. "My knowledge is limited to the theoretical part of this. I've never done this before. So, I think it's best to find a professional to do it."
That was not a bad idea.
Ultimately, Lily found a professional handyman who showed up at the door with a tool bag. After hammering around the box, he announced, "This is an easy task!"
In a quick second, the handyman had pried open the box. Everyone in the room held their breaths in anticipation. No one knew what was inside, and everyone was curious yet, scared.
However, after removing the box, everyone exclaimed, "Wow!"
It was not a prank or a joke. It was a well-made wooden sculpture of a crane with its wings outstretched. The crane was standing on one foot while contracting the other as if it was preparing to fly.
