"It's rare for him to have such an idea in the first place. He knows he will never be qualified enough to win over the old-timers’ employees’ hearts. Damian was not dumb but was too immature. For someone who was born with a golden spoon in his mouth and was used to following his elders to deal with businesses overseas, he still seemed detached from reality.

To Arianna, all the tricks in his book were not up to par.

A prime example was during the perfume’s production. If Damian allowed Nathaniel to intervene and help him, it would be hard to clear Nathaniel's name if something did go wrong.
