“Where is he? Where is everyone?” Arianna’s mind went blank as she stumbled backward. Looking at the empty ward rooms, she had a bad feeling about this.

The nurse was frightened as she stuttered, “T-They l-left!”

Arianna pointed toward the room and said, “Mom, Uncle Derrick is gone. How can the doctor possibly discharge him? He was already about to die! Even if he got out, it would only be to the morgue.” Arianna could not believe what was happening.
