“Sorry, I'm late." Alexander's voice came from behind. He hurried over, put his hands on Lily's shoulder, and kissed her softly on the cheek.
"Ah, cheesy!" Lisa made a show of covering her eyes at their lovey-dovey antics,
"Looks like we can be full without having the actual meal," Mike said with a smile.
Mike and Alexander arrived at the same time and entered together. Mike looked at his son and asked, “Are you doing well?"
"I’m fine." Nick nodded thoughtfully and spoke like an adult.
Mike smiled with satisfaction and sat down beside his son. He then looked at Lily and said, "Long time no see, Ms. Christian."
"Yeah, long time no see. It’s been a while since I last saw Nick. I’m glad you could make it. Did you come together?" Lily asked with a smile.
"Yes, I'm here to discuss our business and ask Mr. Russell something-"
Alexander interrupted him before he could finish his sentence. He put one hand on the chair behind Mike’s back and said, "Mr. Corden came to discuss our collaboration. We finished the discussion at the company and decided to come here together. I reserved this restaurant because it's close to home, so this way, you don’t need to travel far.”
"Haha. Yes, that’s right. We were discussing some business." Mike smiled in reply.
"Is Mr. Corden collaborating with La Beauté Group again? Is it related to fragrance? Our previous collaboration on Southbank soap was wonderful.”
Her innovation of a superior formula for Southbank soap resulted in a booming business. After that, she kept making new perfumes and essential oils and didn't think about them anymore.
