Kaylene raised her right hand, and the scene quieted down.
Then, she said, "Since Mr. Chen has his own choice, let's end the meeting today."
After that, Kaylene got up and left.
The remaining alchemists also left one after another.
Eva wanted to bid Fade goodbye before leaving, but when she was about to take a step, Mattham Chiang came over and whispered, "Don't go over."
"Mr. Chiang, I just want to greet him. After all, we came in together. I—" Eva explained.
Mattham shook his head and said in a low voice, "From now on, you'd better not have anything to do with him. He won't be in the Alchemist Association for long."
"Ah, how could that be? Fade is a six-star alchemist. He's highly regarded by everyone," Eva said in surprise.
Mattham didn't explain. He just glanced at Fade and whispered, "Sometimes, it doesn't mean you can do whatever you want just because you're good at refining medicine."
"The Alchemist Association is more complicated than he had imagined," Mattham said.
"Let's go!"
After that, Mattham left with Eva.
Only Fade and Devon were left in the large conference room.
Even Devon sighed and looked at Fade in confusion. He said, "Mr. Chen, you..."
Fade smiled gently and said, "There's no need to say anything else. That is my decision."
"In that case, I won't say anything more. I'll bring you back." Devon comforted him. "Although you didn't choose Elder He, with your level of alchemy, you don't have to worry about your future development of the association."
Fade understood Devon's comfort. He nodded gently and said, "Mr. Qi, I want to go to Mr. Moo's place. Can you take me there?"
"Elder Moo’s place? This-" Devon was a little worried.
Fade said, "Don't worry, Mr. Qi. I won't do anything. I just want to talk to him."
Devon said, "Okay, I'll take you there."
Fifteen minutes later, Devon brought Fade to the place where Osian was.
Although Osian was ranked at the bottom of the elders in the Alchemist Association, he was still an elder after all, and there was no need to say about the treatment he received because of his status.
There were several houses in an independent courtyard which were all under Elder Moo's name.
Fade reported his arrival and entered Elder Moo's courtyard after getting permission.
Osian, on the other hand, had regained his gentle and smiling expression. He welcomed them with a smile. "Fade, you're here. Come in."
"Sit and have a taste of tea." Osian took the initiative to pour the tea. He was quite enthusiastic. "Fade, although I have the weakest strength and lowest status among all the elders, I am not modest when it comes to tea. My tea is definitely the best. Have a taste."
Fade nodded, picked up the tea, and took a sip. "Thank you, Elder Moo."
The tea was indeed good. It was light in the mouth, but it had a long flavor and a good taste.
Seeing Fade finish his tea, Osian took the initiative to start the conversation, "Fade, you must be here to ask about your master, Natalia Tu, right?"
Fade nodded and said, "That's right. Please tell me what you know."
Osian let out a long sigh and said, "Fade, I'm old friends with Madam Tu. I brought her back this time because I received her request for help. That's why I went to South Van City." Fade nodded to show that he understood. He also knew about these things.
Osian continued, "It's just that by the time I arrived at Southern Van City, Madam Tu had already been arrested for quite some time and her injuries weren't light. Therefore, I quickly brought her back to the Alchemist Association for treatment."
"Now, she is in seclusion for treatment, so I'm afraid she can't see you," Osian said.
"My master is injured!" Fade raised his voice and hurriedly said, "Elder Moo, I also know some medical skills. Can I go to see my Master? Maybe I can help treat her."
