Carl and Jessica stood beside Summer.
Seeing this, they looked at each other tacitly and saw the same doubts in each other's eyes.
However, just after a second, they looked away.
"I'm fine. I have to go back to school." Douglas looked at her with a smile.
However, Summer was even more worried, "Douglas..."
Douglas bent down and gently hugged her. The hug gave her a tinge of sadness.
Very quickly, he stood up and said in a relaxed tone, "I'm leaving."
After a pause, he said, "Goodbye."
Summer slightly moved her lower lip. Before she could say anything, Douglas turned around and left.
"Douglas!" Summer shouted at his back.
Douglas did not turn his head. As he walked forward, he waved his hand, leaving her with a cool back.
Jessica bent down and said to Summer, "Come into the room."
"Jessica, I'm a little worried about him." Summer's gaze still stopped in the direction where Douglas had left, although Douglas had already disappeared.
She always felt that Douglas was hiding something from her.
Jessica tried his best to comfort her and said, "He said he needed to go back to school. Don't think too much."
Summer said slowly, "Actually my intuition is always accurate, especially in bad situations."
"Don't scare yourself." Jessica heard her words and felt a little anxious.
