Summer wanted to ask how Warren's case was doing, only to hear Leonardo saying, "I'm hanging up."
He seemed to be in the middle of something.
Summer gave up the idea of asking him and said, "Alright."
With that, she hung up the phone.
It was almost lunchtime. Since Stanley's operation wouldn't be over soon, she decided to go out for lunch first. Otherwise, she might not have time for lunch when Stanley's operation was over.
When Summer came back from lunch, Stanley's operation was not over. So she went to consult the nurse.
Since she had started to help Stanley with this, she would deal with the matter until it was settled. But Summer couldn't personally take care of Stanley in the hospital, she could only get him a nursing worker.
When Summer finished hiring the nursing worker, Stanley's operation was finished.
Stanley had undergone a major operation and was sent to the ICU afterward. Summer took a look outside the door and went to the doctor to inguire about Stanley's condition.
After knowing how Stanley was, Summer went to visit Jenny.
"Please contact me if anything happens to them." She gave the nursing worker her phone number when she left.
After leaving the hospital, Summer didn't go home directly. Instead, she drove to Rosie's kindergarten.
The kindergarten ended early, and Rosie would be out soon. So Summer decided to wait for Rosie and come home with her after school.
When Summer arrived at the kindergarten, she texted Leonardo, "I'm at Rosie's kindergarten to pick her up. You can go home straightly later."
Leonardo did not reply her immediately. He should still be busy.
Summer threw her phone to the side. Not long after, Rosie came out.
Seeing Summer come to pick her up, Rosie was especially happy.
