Summer's warning was shocking to her. Karen paused as if she had realized something.
But quickly, she went back to the way she was. She squinted and said, "If it weren't for you, Stanley wouldn't have treated Vicky that way. It was your fault, and don't try to defend yourself."
Then, she gritted her teeth and said, "She was dead because of you! You are a murderer."
Summer felt ridiculous over her accusation, "Then what? What are you going to do next?"
She didn't know what Stanley had told Karen, but Karen was clearly brainwashed by him.
No matter how hard Summer tried to let her know the truth, Karen wouldn't buy it. She was convinced that Summer was the one to blame.
Karen stared at Summer. She said slowly and firmly, "You must confess in front of her grave
and ask for her forgiveness."
Summer would feel touched by what she said, if she wasn't her mother. Everyone would be touched by a mother that was trying so hard to avenge her daughter.
Summer uttered one word, "Impossible."
Karen's look was getting ferocious, "Then get prepared for what's coming next!"
Summer looked at her with a faint smile, "Is that so?"
Seeing Summer's attitude, Karen couldn't believe that she was actually her daughter. Karen said in a deep voice, "You've changed."
"And you always act in this way." Karen was a confusing woman and considered Vicky the most important person in her life.
As for her biological daughter Summer, Karen had been ignoring her and treated her like a stranger.
"Let's wait and see!" Karen stood up and walked out quickly.
