Harvey's anger seemed to deflate in an instant as he said, “I just got back. I got a phone call from the principal the minute I got off the plane, telling me that my younger brother's in trouble.” As he mentioned his younger brother, Harvey's gaze landed on Jared, who was next to Arielle.

Arielle eyed Jared and realized something akin to reverence in the latter's gaze. He must be pretty scared of his older brother.
