Honorable Hubby Behind Me novel Chapter 874

"Damn it, my heart is itching. Even though I know that I'll be hurt, I still want to ask what's going on. Quick, give me some advice and let me calm down." Manfred said to Johann with an impatient look on his face.

Johann couldn't help laughing bitterly. Manfred was also a strange person. Sometimes, the emotions he displayed were completely inconsistent with his actual age. He was extremely childish and did not have the style of a boss at all.

"Forget it, don't try to persuade me. No one can stop m e today." Before Johann could say anything, Manfred had already stood up and walked towards Samuel.

Samuel sat on the couch while Manfred sat on the armrest. He placed his hand on Samuel's shoulder and asked, "What's the good news? Why don't you share it with your brother?"

Samuel glanced at Manfred from the corners of his eyes and said, "What does that have to do with you?"

"You can't say that. Aren't I just concerned about you?" Manfred said as he took out a pack of cigarettes and passed one over to Samuel.

Samuel looked at Manfred in surprise. This fellow's life was in danger. He could only enter and not leave. After being acquainted with him for so many years, the number of times he took the initiative to give him

a cigarette could be counted on one's fingers. Yet, he was actually willing to give up today.

"You are really willing to spend some capital in order t o gather information." Samuel teased.

Manfred didn't feel awkward at all. He had long since gotten used to this way of getting along with her. To him, there was no longer anything embarrassing about it.

"Quickly say it, this cigarette of mine is very expensive." Manfred urged.

Samuel put the cigarette in his mouth. Manfred took the initiative to take out a lighter and lit it for him.

After spitting out a mouthful of smoke, Samuel spat out a faint smoke ring and said, "I'm here to wait for Yvonne to meet with me in the afternoon."
