"Yvonne, are you not coming home tonight?" Lydia asked.
On the other end of the line, Yvonne was still having dinner with Linda, but she did plan to go to Linda's house tonight.
"Mom, what can I do for you?" Yvonne asked.
"Yes, and it's a very serious matter. You'd better go home as soon as possible," Lydia said.
"Okay, I'll come back after dinner."
After hanging up, Linda asked Yvonne, "What's wrong?"
"My mom said that there was something very serious, but I guess she made a fuss again." Yvonne shook her head helplessly.
"I don't know what's wrong with Auntie. Why does she want to ruin the relationship between you and Samuel?" Linda asked in confusion. She had heard a lot of Yvonne's complaints, so knowing what Lydia had done made her feel very puzzled.
In the past, Samuel was still a good-for-nothing; it was one thing for Lydia to drive a wedge between them. But now, did she not understand that everything in the Sue family was given by Samuel?
If it weren't for Samuel, how could she live in the
Hillside Villa and how could she be as living as she was now?
Yvonne shook her head. She did not understand why Lydia would do such a thing, but on this matter, Lydia was always happy to do so that no one could find the reason.
"Hurry up. After you eat, I'll have to go home," Yvonne said.
When it was almost nine o'clock, Yvonne finally returned home.
