Right now, Gilda was standing in the airport, staring at her phone with a sigh of relief.
Maybe she had long been living a depressing life with the Harrington family, and now she finally felt relieved.
Looking at the passengers coming and going, she wasn't sure if she was sad about leaving Allath. Maybe she was, but she felt more relief.
She thought Jensen just didn't love her, but now she realized that he was just in love with someone else.
Instead of living like this, she thought she should leave.
Gilda went straight to the counter to check in. She had bought a ticket to Geleston.
She left her family and kept her identity a secret to stay in Allath.
If it weren't for Geleston Medical Expo and her grandfather, Richard Lynch, wanting to see her and Jensen, Richard wouldn't have signed the contract to entrust the project to the Harrington Corporation.
However, Jensen didn't care much about it and sent Gilda to deal with it alone.
Now it was time for her to go back home.
"Sorry, Miss. This ticket is locked so I can't check you in," the staff in charge of first-class service politely refused her.
"Locked?" Gilda was stunned and said in disbelief, "That's impossible. Can you try again?"
"Did you book the ticket with your company's account? Someone may have just used this account to refund the ticket. Can you show me your ID card?"
Gilda suddenly understood what was going on.
As Jensen's secretary, all her accounts were handled by the Harrington Corporation for her.
As for her ID card, the HR Department took it from her earlier for registration.
