I Love You, Miss Genius ( Bonnie Shepard ) novel Chapter 1267

Suddenly, Bonnie did something out of Falcon’s expectations. Not only did she disobey him, but she even tossed the whip aside, saying, “I refuse.”

Falcon said in disbelief, “Wh-what did you say?!”

Bonnie looked at him and slowly repeated, “I refuse!”

Falcon was about to say something when she added, “Are you going to say I’m disobeying Billy? You must want to threaten me with his name again. If so, feel free to tell on me.”

Falcon asked coldly, “Aren’t you afraid of him, Barrett? Do you have no respect for him?”

Meanwhile, Billy watched everything from the warehouse’s second floor. He revealed a menacing smile as he played with the python “Bonnie” had gifted him.

Francesco noticed it and said timidly, “Barrett keeps pitting himself against Falcon. How do you want to handle him now, sir?”

Billy had always hated those who disobeyed and rebelled against him. It was apparent “Bonnie” was one of those people. Although she kept challenging Falcon, she lived on borrowed time, regardless of how talented Billy thought she was.

“Calm down. Let’s listen to what Barrett has to say.” Billy squinted mysteriously.

Francesco dared not make any more comments. He could only respond respectfully, “Understood, Mr. Billy.”

Meanwhile, Bonnie told Falcon, “It’s not that I don’t respect Mr. Billy. However, my job here is to help him with my intelligence. It has been that way since I arrived. Nothing I do involves getting violent.

“Also, I’ve never tortured anyone. I fear it’ll traumatize me too much. You’re telling me to whip those people, but it will stress my mind. What if I can no longer help Mr. Billy because of it? Will you be responsible for making him lose someone as useful as me?”

Falcon wanted to retort but did not know how. On the contrary, he thought she had a fine point. Such torture and gore would take a toll on the mind, especially for someone as “inexperienced” and “innocent” as “Bonnie.”

‘It’s Barrett’s first time coming to our party. I shouldn’t force him to partake in such a brutal event.’

Bonnie could sense Falcon’s hesitance. She squinted and stepped toward him, asking, “Why aren’t you saying anything? Can you bear the responsibility when I become mentally unstable and can no longer work for Mr. Billy? If you have no issues with that, I’ll whip those people on the stage.”

She glanced sideways at Falcon as if to probe him. She knew Billy only wanted her for her capabilities and computer skills. Since that was the case, Falcon would have a hard time explaining himself to Billy if “Bonnie” had post-traumatic stress disorder.

‘I knew Falcon would use Billy’s name to threaten me, so I’m using his technique against him.’
