Falcon saw the look on Billy's face and was very sure that the Nidhoggs did intrude on the base. His voice was deep when he asked, "What should we do now, Billy?"
"We're making a break for it. What matters is that we're alive to achieve our goals. We'll talk about the rest of it after we survive the Nidhoggs' invasion." Billy's voice was cold.
'I spent years searching for a perfect hiding spot for my base. As far as I'm concerned, this is the most secluded spot.
'So, how did the Nidhoggs track us down?'
This invasion made Billy extremely alert. Thick waves of suspicion rose within his chest over and over again.
'There could be a mole in my organization. Someone must've secretly exposed our location to the Nidhoggs. Otherwise, they wouldn't have found out about this spot that quickly.
'That begs the question—Who in the hell is the mole?'
Billy had been racking his brain for an answer while he searched for Falcon and Bonnie. However, he didn't get close to figuring it out.
'Is it possible that the Nidhoggs have such a vast network that they managed to suss out my location after several investigations?'
"Billy's right. What matters now is surviving the Nidhoggs' attack. We'll talk about the rest later." Falcon might've seemed reliable, but his voice was shaking subtly. Clearly, the Nidhoggs' arrival had rattled him.
"Mm-hmm," Billy responded dryly. He saw Bonnie, who was standing next to Falcon, out of the corner of his eyes and couldn't help but remind her, "Stay close to us, Barrett. Don't fall behind."
Bonnie nodded and deliberately sounded curious when she asked, "Are the Nidhoggs this powerful, Billy? Why does their arrival unnerve you and Falcon this much?"
