Yasmine felt helpless, saying, “The most dangerous place is the safest place for Mr. Boyd, huh?”

Collin responded, “Given his current circumstances, yes.”

Then, he picked up his pace and added, “That’s why we need to leave now. If we stay longer, it’ll only delay my boss’s rescue.”

Yasmine caught up to him. “Yeah, let’s go.”

Suddenly, she recalled something and said, “If your boss contacts you when we’re back, please tell me how he’s doing. Otherwise, I won’t be able to sleep.”

“You got it,” Collin responded, thinking, ‘She’s so demanding. If I didn’t know better, I would’ve thought she was Bonnie’s wife.’

“Perfect.” Yasmine looked at him approvingly, causing his lips to twitch again.

‘Yasmine keeps talking about Bonnie. I should stop responding to her, or she’ll never stop.’

Falcon propped himself up and limped toward the cave’s entrance. He stood there and listened briefly before returning to “Bonnie’s” side. He said excitedly, “I think the Nidhoggs are gone. I’ll use the flare gun to signal Billy now.”

Bonnie looked at him and calmly said, “We should wait a little longer. The Nidhoggs might still be around waiting for us to fire that thing. That’ll make it easier for them to catch us.”

She was not worried about that. After all, Collin had completed the task she had given him. It did not matter if the Nidhoggs heard the flare gun because Collin would not return for her anyway. Moreover, he might just be excited to see the flare.
