Chapter 149
“Excuse me, which room is Ms. Bonita in?” Trina asked, restraining her excitement.
The nurse replied, “In the VIP ward on the third floor. But right now, the other professors and Mr. Jim
In. are inside. You should wait for them to come out before you go
“Thanks for telling me,” Trina said, taking out a gift and handing it to the nurse. “This is a designer handbag I got for you. I hope you like it.”
“You didn’t have to do that. It’s such a valuable bag, too.” The nurse’s eyes gleamed, wanting to take it but hesitated.
“Just take it. No matter how valuable it is, it can’t compare to my future. I’m confident Ms. Bonita will notice me. Maybe she’ll even let me assist her. Once I succeed, I’ll have to thank you again. If you don’t take it, I’ll feel guilty.”
The nurse could only accept the gift. “Okay, I’ll accept it for now. If you fail to make Ms. Bonita notice you, I’ll return this bag to you.”
“Hey, you’re too kind. You gave me a chance, and I’m just giving you a handbag. If I fail and take it back, it would make me look petty, wouldn’t it?” Trina was skilled in manipulating others to do things for her.
“Okay, I won’t argue then. I’ll keep an eye out for you. Once the professors leave, I’ll notify you immediately.” The nurse happily took the designer handbag.
“I appreciate your help.” Trina flashed a sweet smile and then smirked once the nurse left.
‘The poor will always succumb to money. All’I have to do is give this nurse something, and she’ll do whatever I want. Money is a wonderful thing. Now that Bonnie’s no longer in the picture, I’ll be the only heiress to my family. My future will be boundless once Ms. Bonita notices me.‘
