Before Bonnie could respond, he continued asking, “Do you know Master Kieran personally?”
She giggled and asked, “Just how many questions do you have, Ivor? It’s just dumb luck that I saw that particular error.”
“Oh. Dumb luck. I see.” Ivor’s lowered his eyes a little. His lush eyelashes covered his true feelings.
She could tell that he didn’t quite believe her, but she couldn’t be bothered to explain herself.
The next day, she went to the McLeod Villa with Ivor.
Many people were there today. Even Jordynn, who used to have a crush on Bonnie, was there. The moment she saw Bonnie, she gave the latter a weird look.
“Hmm. I think you look better when you’re disguised as a man.”
She proceeded to admire Bonnie’s stunning face and fell into deep thought.
“What a shame. Why couldn’t she have been a guy instead?”
She heard someone disagree with her. “I think Bonnie looks better when she’s dressed as a lady. On top of that, she has this elegance that just accentuates her beauty.”
‘Who said that? Why’s he fucking going against me?’
Turning around, she saw an extremely handsome man with a delicate face. Then, she paid close attention and realized who he was. It’s Ezequiel Acosta, her childhood friend.
“W-Where did your rugged looks go? Did you do something to your face?”
‘He must’ve done something drastic, too. Otherwise, why would his face look so delicate?’
She wanted to see if it was real. So, she rubbed and pinched his cheeks. She couldn’t find anything weird with it, though.
