After a brief pause, Auguste started to speak again.
"Ms. Bonita, did you see that?"
Bonnie turned her head to look at him, and her voice was calm. "See what?"
"With your esteemed presence, my humble villa has become much more vibrant and full of life," Auguste said with a grin.
Bonnie's impatient eyes seemed to blaze. "Enough nonsense. Where is Ivor?"
Auguste replied with a smile, "Ms. Bonita, there's no need to rush. I have excellent tea from Arvandor here. Please have a seat, and let's have a nice chat. As for Mr. Ivor, I'll send someone to invite him over later."
She had no better option but to sit opposite Auguste patiently, although Bonnie was anxious about Ivor's situation.
With a wave of his hand, Auguste’s subordinates quickly brought tea and placed it on the table. Auguste handed a porcelain cup to Bonnie.
"Ms. Bonita, please."
After taking the cup, Bonnie hesitated, as if thinking of something.
Augustus understood her concern and immediately explained, "Rest assured, Ms. Bonita, there's no poison in this tea."
Bonnie lightly traced her fingertips over the cup with a mysterious expression, then handed it back.
"I'll have you try it to know for sure.”
Auguste took the cup and drank it all in one go, then showed the empty cup to Bonnie.
